Kostas Douvalidis has qualified to the semifinals of the 110m hurdles event in the European Athletics Championship in Zurich, after coming in 4th in the qualifiers. The Greek champion finished forth (13.54”) in the qualifiers and secured his spot in the semifinals thanks to his performance in previous races.
On the contrary, Antonis Mastoras and Kostas Baniotis were unable to qualify to the next phase of the long jump event, despite their performances in previous qualifiers. The Greek champions had three failed attempts each, at 2.23 meters.
