SYRIZA: “Samaras and his government have reached a dead end”

The main opposition party commented on recent political developments and argued that “Mr. Samaras and his government have reached a dead end, as they cannot get the numbers for the election of President and soon they will belong to the past”.

SYRIZA’s announcement further argues that the coalition government is desperately trying to retain authority by focusing on media spins and argued that the government has launched an attack against the opposition, fully in-line with the interests of market speculators.

Furthermore, the opposition party accused the Minister of Finances Gikas Hardouvelis of observing “the same catastrophic policy and selling off public property” and stressed that the upcoming multi-bill illustrates the close relation of the troika and government.

The government spokeswoman Sofia Voultepsi dismissed SYRIZA’s accusations and suggested that the opposition party was making an effort to refute older comments regarding “the Argentine example”.
