The Deputy Minister of Health Zetta Makri has issued new guidelines regarding the prevention of disease in public and private nurseries alike.
Mrs. Makris’ new guidelines include measures which have been designed to help protect children, given that nurseries can present the ideal conditions for the spread of disease.
Amongst the measure are guidelines on personal hygiene, environmental hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting work areas and surfaces, as well as guidelines for handling and preparing food.
