According to State Council deputy An. Banos the “ERT” which is to come back on air will not be like the ERT as we know it. The State Council decision essentially shits down ERT.
The State Council order that was sent to the Minister of Finances Giannis Stournaras was accompanied by a letter by Mr. Banos, who explained that the temporary order does not include any provisions about “publication” and “other activities”, restricting ERT operations to “transmitting radio and television program” and “operating websites”.
