The Minister of National Defense Panos Kammenos has formally dismissed rumors regarding an outbreak of tuberculosis among military personnel operating at the refugee accommodation centers.
From the stand in Parliament Mr. Kammenos announced that an inquiry will be launched into the allegations, in order to “locate and discipline those who are creating impressions and concern among the people over non-existent issues”.
According to the Minister, all military personnel were inoculated before being tasked and that nobody in the Armed Forces is suffering from tuberculosis.
