The slogan for this year’s Thessaloniki Pride festival, which will be held on Friday and Saturday, is “My Rights, My Demands: Marriage, Name, Respect” and aims to raise awareness on the institutional and legal rights and demands of the LGBT community in Greece.
A Pride Forum will kick off this year’s festival at the City Hall in Thessaloniki at 17:30 on Friday, followed by a street party at 22:00 on Morichovou square in the city.
On Saturday the organizers have announced a Pride Fair at the White Tower square at noon, while the Pride Parade is scheduled to begin at 19:30 at the historic city center. A Price Concert, with a variety of music and dance artists, will take place at the White Tower square at 21:30.
