The Greek Entrepreneurship Awards have announced its four winners for this year’s award, who will receive the necessary resources to see their business grow, including 700,000 euros of funding, support services and mentoring from an experience business consultant.
The winning applications were selected based on the business plan submitted and vision, indicating the necessary discipline and ambition that can contribute towards job creation and sustainable entrepreneurship in Greece. This year’s winners are:
- Afroditi Florou and Yanna Martha for Anassa Organics, a premium herbal tea and hot drink company.
- Stelios Iliakos, Xenia Kourtoglou and Katerina Pramatis for e-satisfaction, an independent online customer feedback satisfaction platform.
- Sokratis Ploussas for Open Circle, an “equity crowdfunding” internet platform for business investors.
- Evangelos Pappas, Thomas Maris and Nikolaos Stergiopoulos for RTsafe, which focuses on minimizing the effects of radiotherapy treatment.
Compared to last year’s awards, for 2014 there were 67% more applications submitted online, for a total of 488 applications. The award is funded and managed by the Libra Group on behalf of the Greek Initiative, which aims to support entrepreneurship in Greece.
