The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has released its latest divs on the turnover index in retail, according to which there was a major 18.7% drop in January 2015, compared to December 2014 and a 2.6% drop compared to January 2014.
Additionally, the volume of retail trade in January 2015, recorded a decrease of 0.1% compared to January 2014 while compared to December 2014, the index recorded a decrease of 16.9%.
Finally, the seasonally adjusted turnover index in retail, in January 2015 recorded a 2.2% decrease compared to January 2014, while compared to December 2014 recorded as increase of 0.4%.
Similarly, the volume of seasonally adjusted volume (i.e. turnover in retail trade at constant prices), in January 2015 recorded a 0.2% increase compared to January 2014, while compared to December 2014 recorded an increase of 0.3%.
