The Minister of Finances Yannis Stournaras expressed his support for the implementation of performance-based system of remuneration in the public sector.
Mr. Stournaras argued in Parliament that the implementation of a “carefully-planned, dynamic and flexible plan” that has been “adapted to Greek fiscal reality” from other countries where such systems are in place, can increase efficiency and productivity.
