US Assistant Secretary of State for Eurasian Affairs visits Athens

The Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State Victoria Nuland is expected in Athens n Sunday, where she is rumored to meet with the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Evangelos Venizelos.

Mrs. Nuland recently discussed a series of bilateral matters with the General Secretary of the Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Mitsialis in Washington, followed by Mr. Venizelos’ trip to the American capital. The US State Department has reported that Mrs. Nuland will discuss bilateral and international issues, financial growth and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.

Following her meetings in Athens, the Assistant Secretary will travel to Nicosia on the 4th of February, where she will meet with Cypriot leaders, where she will discuss matter related to the Cypriot dispute.
