A 45-year-old man who worked as a security manager for a cash-in-transit company in Heraklion, which supplied ATMs and bank branches in Crete, has disappeared with about 540,000 euros.
The police was told that the 45-year-old man had access to the company’s vault in the Katsampas area, from which the aforementioned sum is missing.
An investigation and search for the 45-year-old has been launched, with his family claiming to have been unaware of his whereabouts and plans.
