The Coast Guard reported that it launched a rescue operation early on Friday morning after locating a boat carrying 11 migrants.
According to the report, upon being located, the migrants damaged their vessel and jumped over board. The Coast Guard promptly collected them and transferred them to the port authorities of Agathonisi.
Additionally, the Coast Guard announced that it located and arrested 75 migrants in various areas on Lesvos.
