The visiting troika representatives met with the management of privatization fund TAIPED on Wednesday and discussed public land and how it would be possible to take advantage of it.
Based on reports, the troika has requested that the Greek side pushes forward the necessary legislative amendments in order to be able to privatize real estate, from which TAIPED could generate an estimated 350 to 400 million euros. TAIPED also presented plans that could generate up to 4 billion euros.
The meeting between the two sides was conducted so that the troika could ensure that the revenue goal of 3.5 billion euros in 2014 is achieved.
