The head of the Financial and Economic Crime Unit (SDOE) Panagiotis Danis has reportedly submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
According to sources, Mr. Danis appears to have resigned in opposition to transferring SDOE’s auditing powers to the General Secretariat of Public Revenue.
The resignation of Mr. Danis came shortly after the dismissal of Katerina Savvaidou from her post as General Secretary of Public Revenue.
