A bomb threat was made via telephone call on Tuesday morning, causing the cancellation of a ferry boat departure from the port of Rafina to Marmari in Evia.
The ferry boat, which was carrying about 40 passengers, was meant to depart at 8:20am, however the trip was cancelled after an anonymous telephone call indicated that a bomb had been placed on board the vessel.
The authorities promptly evacuated the ferry boat and the bomb disposal unit is carrying out the necessary inspections.
