The annual Comicdom Con Athens is celebrating its tenth anniversary this weekend at this year, with the comic book convention scheduled to take place on the 24th-26th of April at the Hellenic-American Union.
This year’s convention will feature 10 free workshops, 9 international guests, 46 events, 7 exhibitions and the usual sale of comic books and merchandise. A cosplay competition will also be held this year, with the winner set to represent Greece in the EuroCosplay in London later this year.
Internationally-renown artist and writer Ilias Kyriazis, who rose to fame in Greece with his Blood Opera and Manifesto series before being picked up by DC Comics and IDW Publishing, will be honored in this year’s convention.
