The president of the Eurogroup Jeroen Dijsselbloem stressed the “great sense of urgency for a deal” by Greece and its partners, as he arrived at the Eurozone finance minister meeting in Riga.
Mr. Dijsselbloem commented that the Eurogroup would be informed by the institutions on the progress of negotiations and noted that there was some “positive news” last week, but was waiting for a more detailed briefing.
According to the Dutch Finance Minister there is little time and money left and “there is a great determination among our Greek colleagues” to complete the agreement, however he added that there were still things that need to be done next week.
