The president of PASOK Evangelos Venizelos lashed out against Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, accusing him of going back on his word in Berlin and then “continuing to lie in Athens”.
Mr. Venizelos also argued that in his effort to placate the German Chancellor, the Prime Minister “gave up everything” and “did not get anything specific for the problem of the Greek economy”.
The PASOK leader further accused the Prime Minister of abandoning the German reparation claims and called him to “find balance” and to follow “the only existing national strategy, the one he slandered and undermined for years”.
