New Democracy MP Dora Bakoyanni has not ruled out the possibility of challenging the party’s leadership, when she stated that “what I have to tell, I will say to the Parliamentary Group”, in an interview on SKAI.
Mrs. Bakoyanni added that Greece needs a “healthy and powerful center right“, which does not reflect New Democracy’s current position. He stressed that she has “no personal goals” and only wants to see the party “recover” and find the right political outlook.
She underlined that the party has ideological, strategic, political and operational problems, which will be solved by a “clear, internal discussion” without any “personal strategies”.
Furthermore, Mrs. Bakoyanni claimed that it was not possible for the government to not submit the recent Eurogroup agreement in Parliament to be ratified and argued that it was “reality time” for the government.
New Democracy’s Parliamentary Groups is scheduled to convene next Thursday, while the party’s Political Commission has arranged to convene on the 8th of March.
