According to French media reports, popular singer Demis Roussos has passed away at the age of 69. The reports are based on statements made by his daughter Emily. The death of the famous singer was made public by presenter Nikos Aliagas via Twitter.
The internationally renown singer became hugely popular in the 1970s, as a solo artist and sold millions of records worldwide. Prior to his solo career Roussos was a part of the progressive rock band Aphrodite’s Child, which also featured composed Vangelis Papathanasiou.
