The Portuguese Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho is in Athens on a one-day visit and has met with PM Antonis Samaras and President Karolos Papoulias.
At press conference after the meeting between the two Prime Ministers, Mr. Coelho expressed his optimism that Greece would soon return on its path to recovery.
Mr. Samaras on the other hand clarified that Greece will not need any further loans and argued that with “gradual and steady steps” Greece will be back on the path to growth.
