The shops in Athens will be open from 9am to 6pm on Thursday, Christmas Eve, while super markets will operate until 9pm and the Varvakios Market will shut down at 7pm. In Thessaloniki stores will open at 10am and close at 5pm.
Stores across Greece will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, however they will operate on Sunday, the 27th of December between 11am and 6pm.
It has also been announced that tax offices will operate until 12:30 on Christmas Eve.
