According to reports European Commission member and head of the task force for Greece Horst Reichenbach, has been asked to attend the EU summit on Thursday in Brussels.
In conjunction with the backroom contacts in Athens and Brussels, this information is interpreted as an indication of a potentially broader discussion, which will also consider the reform proposals of the Greek government on behalf of the European centers.
