The national meteorological agency EMY has announced that the current wave of tropical rain and thunderstorms will continue until Thursday, mostly during midday and the afternoon.
While the off-season weather condition affect most of the country, Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, Evia, the Sporades, eastern parts of mainland Greece and the Aegean islands are particularly affected. Other areas in Greece will mostly experience cloudy weather and occasional storms and showers.
The temperature is not expected to change dramatically. This mini “winter break” will come to an end on Friday, with the skies clearing up and the temperature increasing.
