According to an informal vote that was held in eleven municipalities in Thessaloniki, 98% of voters are against the privatization of the EYATH, the city’s public water company.
Of the 96,671 votes that were cast, 94,689 (98.06%) were against the privatization, while only 1,876 (1.94%) were in favor of the controversial government plans.
The vote organizers have posted the results and details of the voting process that was held on Sunday on their vote4water.gr website.
