The Ministry of Finances has announced that tax revenue increased significantly by 29% in November 2015, compared to the same month last year. This development has been attributed to the overall increase payments of income tax, VAT and other taxes on property (such as the ENFIA tax).
According to the Ministry, revenue in November this year amounted to 3.335 billion euros (up by 735.720 million euros), while last year tax revenue amounted to 2.6 billion euros. Payments for income tax specifically increased by 34.91%, taxes on property increased by 42.24%, while VAT payment increased by 28.22%.
