The outgoing president of the main opposition party Antonis Samaras addressed New Democracy’s Parliamentary Group on Wednesday, where he lashed out against the government.

Mr. Samaras accused SYRIZA of “burning all bridges with Europe” argued that Greece can “still be saved”. The former PM claimed that his party was “the only bridge with Europe that SYRIZA cannot burn”.

In conclusion, Mr. Samaras noted that he would do everything to keep this relationship intact and also urged his party MPs to support the provisional president Evangelos Meimarakis.
