An emergency meeting has been called at Maximos Mansion by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, in order to discuss the latest developments in the critical negotiations with the country’s creditors and partners.

Present at the meeting are ANEL leader and Minister of National Defense Panos Kammenos, Government Vice President Yannis Dragasakis, Minister of Finances Yanis Varoufakis, Minister of Economy, Infrastructure, Shipping and Tourism Giorgos Stathakis, Minister of State Nikos Pappas, Alternate Minister of International Economic Relations Euclid Tsakalotos, the Minister of Productive Reconstruction, Environment and Energy Panagiotis Lafazanis and the Minister of Labor Panagiotis Skourletis.

According to a non-paper that was issued shortly after 1pm on Friday, the Greek government claims that the negotiations on a technical level have concluded and can only continue on a political level. It also notes that the IMF’s departure from the talks is nothing more than an attempt to pressure all side, particularly Berlin, to secure its funds.
