The General Secretary of Social Insurance Giorgos Romanias has claimed that the actuarial reports on the insurance funds, upon which the pension and wage cuts were based, were «rigged».
Mr. Romanias, who made the revelation on Mega Channel, stated that the reports he received did not include that assets belonging to the funds, nor their yields. The reports only appear to take into account the contributions which they were to receive.
As such, the general secretary argued that this omission was planned.
