The British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne commented on the recent crisis in Greece and argued that the possibility of a Greek departure from the Eurozone would be “very damaging”.
Mr. Osborne, who spoke to Bloomberg TV from Istanbul, further explained that the British and global economy is at risk and that an wrong move or calculation could result in a “very bad outcome”.
Furthermore, the British officer reported that the G-20 talks in Istanbul focused on finding a solution acceptable by all sides and stressed the negative impact on the European economy that a Greek departure might have.
When asked about the impact of a Grexit, Mr. Osborne argued that without a doubt the British economy would be affected by the crisis in the Eurozone.
