The Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis appeared on ANT1 this morning announced that the National Organization for Medicines has published a list with suggested prices on its website.
Mr. Georgiadis explained that in most cases the suggested sale price has been reduced and repeated his objection to the sale of non-prescription medicines (such as aspirins) in super-markets and corner shops.
The Health Minister also noted that he has arranged to meet with his counterpart at the Ministry of Growth Kostis Hatzidakis, in order to discuss the deregulation of the sale of non-prescription medicines. Mr. Georgiadis pointed out that the Prime Minister will take the ultimate decision.
