'We must establish a legal status that will apply to all unaccompanied minors and be linked in some way with their progress in school and their desire to be integrated,' said Deputy Migration Minister Sophia Voultepsi.
'Greece has a heightened historical and humanitarian sensitivity regarding war refugees, as Greeks often in the 20th century were forced to become refugees. Over the last two years, Greece has effectively restructured its refugee management procedures.'
