The former Minister of Public Order Yannis Panousis and the head of the national intelligence agency (EYP) Yannis Roumpatis will be summoned by the Parliamentary Ethics Committee over the recent allegations regarding ties between SYRIZA officers and terrorism.

It has not yet been determined when they will be summoned though, causing frustration amongst the opposition parties. The two were summoned at the request of the representatives of New Democracy and PASOK in the Ethics Committee, Yannis Tragakis and Evangelos Venizelos respectively.

The president of the committee Tasia Christodoulopoulou accepted the request and commented that an investigation in the matter is under way.
