Six Kalashnikov assault rifles were found buried in an area outside a farmhouse, which had previously been used by Giorgos Petrakakos and his family, before moving to Volos.

The counter-terrorism police recovered the weapons at the farmhouse in Molo, Fthiotida. It is believed that the farmhouse may have also been used as a hideout and base of operations for Petrakakos and his accomplices.

It was also announced that ballistics test on the two weapons recovered from the house used in Volos – an assault rifle and a pistol – showed that they had not been previously used in criminal activities.
