American police authorities are searching for a 34-year-old man from Maryland, who is suspected of being responsible for the murder of Savvas Savopoulos, his wife Amy, their 10-year-old son and their housekeeper in Washington DC.

According to the latest reports, the murderer appears to have held the family hostage and after receiving a $40,000 ransom, tortured and killed them. The police was led to the suspect after his DNA was located on a pizza box, which appears to have been ordered by the murderer.

Prior to the brutal murder, an associate of Mr. Savopoulos reportedly left $40,000 on the family’ front door, which is believed to have been a ransom payment. The police suspect that Mr. Savopoulos authorized the payment, but many questions remain.
