Greece managed to win two silver medals in the 2015 European Athletics Indoor Championships, which took place in Prague between the 6th and 8th of March.

The first medal came from Antonis Mastoras in the High Jump final, thanks to the Greek champion’s 2.31m jump. With his second attempt Mastoras achieved a personal best for the season. Mastoras was tied in second place with Italian Silvano Chesani, while Russian Daniyil Tsyplakov came first.

The second silver medal came shortly later in the Pole Vault final with Katerina Stefanidi, with a 4.75m jump that put here ahead of Swedish Angelica Bengtsson and behind Russian Anzhelika Sidorova. Nikolia Kiriakopoulou, who also made it to the final, came in fifth.
