The municipal employees of Patra have occupied the city’s mayor office in response to the government’s review procedures of local government employees.
According toe municipal employee union representatives, the goal of the occupation is so that “no decision is made regarding the classification and distribution of employees in categories that will set many of them up for dismissal”.
Meanwhile the employees have arranges a general assembly in order to discuss their future actions.
