The Ministry of Administrative Reform announced that the suspension period of all employees in the public sector will be extended, until the final lists of dismissals and transfers are finalized.

The currently published lists, which were composed by the Supreme Personnel Selection Council (ASEP), are not final, as healthcare applications have not yet been examined. Employees will remain suspended until the final lists are published.

As such, suspended employees will continue to receive their portion of their wages, until their suspension ends accordingly after the final lists are composed. This does not affect employees who have requested a transfer.

Furthermore, the Ministry noted that suspended employees who continue to work, due to interim measures or orders, will remain in service until their appeal has been tried or if they are successful in applying for another position.
