The Police announced that it discovered a drugs packaging and distribution plant in Aspropyrgos, after two men were arrested by the Coast Guard in Corinth.

The Coast Guard arrested the two men at the port of Corinth after discovering 345 kilos of cannabis in their vehicle. The police was informed of the find, which led them to a warehouse in Aspropyrgos.

The warehouse acted as a packaging plant for narcotics and also operated a work shop in order to create hiding places in vehicles. The police found 210 drug packets which were intended for distribution.

The police recovered a number of drugs and associated paraphernalia, including 114 grams of cannabis cuttings, a hydraulic press, electronic scales, vacuum and heat-sealing packaging device and large number of containers.
