The indignant employees at PASOK have decided to take action and claim their rights, as they have not been paid any wages in many months, despite promises from the party’s management.

The employees rejected the party’s proposal to pay off 20% of what is owed to them and have addressed a letter to the President of European Parliament and head of the European Socialist Party Martin Schulz, condemning PASOK and asking him to intervene.

The PASOK employees were particularly scathing in their criticism towards party leader Evangelos Venizelos, who “is struggling for worker rights in Parliament, but is indifferent towards his own employees” and his involvement in the Olive Tree coalition.
