Mitsotakis claims “1 in 3 school wardens will find a job”
The Minister of Administrative Reform Kyriakos Mitsotakis appeared on ANT1’s morning chat show in order to address the reappointment of the school wardens, all of whom were suspended in September.
Mr. Mitsotakis claimed that 526 applications have been submitted and that one in three school wardens will find a job. The Minister explained that former employees with three children and above, as well as single-parent families and various categories of disabled will be prioritized.
When asked about the remaining estimated two thirds of school wardens, Mr. Mitsotakis claimed he was unable to provide an answer, other than “there are still needs, but must take into consideration the overall flow of demands. Through a complicated procedure we will ensure that nobody is being wronged”.
