European creditors consider extending deadlines for Greek loans

According to the international news agency Bloomberg, Greece’s European partners are currently discussion the possibility of extending the deadlines of Greek loans out, as well as reducing interest rates.

In its report, Bloomberg cites European officials who claim that the next aid package to Greece will most likely include an extension of payment deadlines from 30 to 50 years and a reduction of the interest by 50 base points.

Another European official is reported to have stated that there have been considerations of including an additional loan worth 13 to 15 billion euros in the new Greek aid package.
