Thessaloniki’s PAOK F.C. will have a tough time in the knockout Round of 32 of the 2013-2014 Europa League competition after being drawn with Portuguese side Benfica. PAOK came in second in Group L, behind the Dutch AZ Alkmaar side during the group stage.

While PAOK has managed to avoid some of the more prestigious and stronger teams in this year’s competition, such as Tottenham Hotspurs, Juventus, Ajax and Rubin Kazan, PAOK will face Benfica, who finished third in the Champions League Group that featured Olympiacos.

PAOK will face Benfica on the 20th of February in Thessaloniki, with the second leg of the knockout roundbeing scheduled to take place in Lisbon on the 27th of February.
