The Minister of Administrative Reform Kyriakos Mitsotakis has asked the Body of Public Administration Auditors and Inspectors (SEEDD) to investigate the finances of civil servants who have transferred over 100,000 euros to foreign bank accounts in the past four years.

Mr. Mitsotakis has requested from SEEDD’s special secretary Paraskevas Nomikos to prioritize cases of public sector employees who are suspected of breaking the law and are unable to justify their assets.

In his written request, the Minister warned that “the times when anyone could do whatever they want without reporting to anyone have long gone and everyone should take notice”.
