According to exclusive information available to tovima.gr, the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and the government Vice President Evangelos Venizelos have arranged to meet on Thursday, in order to discuss the privatization of the state electrical company DEI.

With the government under constant pressure from the troika over the lackluster implementation of the privatization plans, the Prime Minister and the Vice President are going to discuss all available options for the privatization of the country’s largest state company.

The Ministers of Growth Kostis Hatzidakis and the Environment Yannis Maniatis will also be present at the meeting. The meeting to discuss matters related to energy will also be an opportunity to prepare for the Friday visit of European Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger.
