The President of the Onassis Foundation Antonis Papadimitriou was invited to meet Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and the Minister of Growth Kostis Hatzidakis, in relation to the foundation’s donation of 30 million euro to the investment fund.
On his way out of the meeting, Mr. Papadimitriou stated that the economy is going through a crisis, the Greek people have made incredible sacrifices and that the investment fund is the finest tool for encouraging growth, job creation and supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
Mr. Hatzidakis commented that “the name ‘Onassis’ is known throughout the world. The participation of the Onassis Foundation sends a messaged that the Greek people are united in their struggle to overcome the crisis”.
