According to the data released by the Greek Statistics Authority (ELSTAT) regarding September, exports were reduced by 2.3%, while imports rose by 7.7%.

The total worth of exports – dispatches during the same months was estimated at about 2.39 billion euros, compared to 2.44 billion in September 2012. The value of exports – dispatches between October 2012 and September 2013 was about 9.5% greater compared to the October 2011 to September 2012 period.

ELSTAT estimated that the total value of imports – arrivals for this September was approximately 4.015 billion euros, compared to 3.7 billion euros in September 2012. Furthermore, the value of imports – arrivals from October 2012 to September 2013 dropped by 0.1% compared the value of imports – arrivals between October 2011 and September 2012.
