Reuters reports that Hellenic Petroleum (ELPE) has launched a voluntary departure program for 300 employees. The news agency stated that the program is for administrative staff and will run until the end of October. ELPE has refused to make a statement.

The petroleum company carried a similar voluntary departure program in November and December 2012, which resulted in 320 employees, about 7% of its staff, departing. It was reported that the cost of the voluntary departure, which included compensation and other benefits, was 40 million euros
