The Greek national started off with a bang at the EuroBasket in Slovenia, beating Sweden 79-51 in the first game of the competition.

Despite a woozy start, the Greeks stars focused their efforts in the second quarter onwards and dominated the game, building a 30-point lead. All 12 players on the roster got the opportunity to score and demonstrate their readiness for the next games.

Vasilis Spanoulis was Greece’s top scorer with 13 points, while Jeffery Taylor scored 16 points for Sweden.
