A number of school wardens have occupied the Ministry of the Interior this morning, in protest to their suspension and in demand of reinstatement. School warden representatives are currently in talks with Minister Yannis Michelakis.
The Minister commented on Mega Channel’s chat show earlier in the day that “we have arranged to meet with school wardens in the day and we are looking for jobs for them to work”.
The school wardens along with municipal police officers and union representatives of local government employee unions (POE-OTA) are demonstrating outside the Ministry of Administrative Reform.
